Bye bye yoga ball

This morning I was doing sit-ups on my yoga/balance ball when Cali did a run by and slashed it. While I was on it. Lol 

Well balance ball it was fun while it lasted!

Cali learned how to bark :) Her and Cloee playing with a bone. Love how Cali wags her tail too!

We took Cali for her 3rd posting and they are going go to take the wraps off for 2 days so her ears can breathe, I'm So excited for her!

Also caught Cloee drinking out of the pool. Seems like she's not as intimidated by it as she used to be!

My girls

Cali being a good girl and leaving her sister alone while she eats. This is a pretty big accomplishment for this curious puppy! 

I just took this picture about five minutes ago. She wanted to sleep on my hand. She is such a sweetheart! Shes started scratching at the bases of her ears to the point where they are getting raw. We started putting a cream on it and it seems to be bothering her less. Her posting appointment is on Sunday. I can't air until her ears are completely done.

Bark bark!

Cali barked today and it was the cutest thing ever! She was under our bed (which is one of her most favorite places) and had her nose sticking out. I was done getting ready in the bedroom do I said come on let's go.. She barked then looke at me, then came running out. It was adorable and one of those times I wish we had video cameras just around the house lol.

 Everyday they amaze me just a little more. Cloee is almost 7 years old and still acts like a puppy! She is the only schnauzer I have had that has not started to act like an old lady at this age. I am so happy that she has my only embraced Cali but become her best friend :)

Happy weekend!

Oh how I love the weekends! Quality time with the hubby and our girls! Cali had her second posting today, her ears look great! This posting needs to last a week.. Keep your fingers crossed for us! Close got her haircut today by a new groomer. The groomer is great and Cloee looks like a new dog! We took them to the park and went down the slides, which they love! We started on the kiddie slides and Cali came right down After Cloee and I. Then Cali went down the big girl slide - it was adorable! Too bad my stupid iPhone wouldn't let me take a video or even a picture because I'm out of space :( this afternoon I'm working on fixing that. 

Best friends

Cali weighs 20lbs! Her and Cloee are becoming best buds. One pic it's hard to tell but they are both chewing on separate toys, and Cali just has her paw resting on Cloees back. They stayed like that for quite awhile. 

Smart puppy

Last night at dog class Cali placed in a bucket, on two small stools, on a pop container, learned "under" for going under a chair, placed on a metal folding chair, went through a dog agility tunnel and worked on sit heel, come, over and my personal favorite through - as in weave through my legs. She is by far the smartest dog I have ever owned!

Cali girl gets her cone and cup off today! I'm so excited for her! Over the weekend Cali and Cloee really started to bond. Cali licks Cloees face, they sleep together and when I took Cloee with me to the store Cali sat by the door and whined for her big sister. We worked a lot on the heel and come position over the weekend. We also learned about dock diving and am hoping we can get Cali interested in it after her ears are done. I'll post her weight and hopefully more pictures after the vet today.

Our little Cali is growing up fast!

Things I have learned in the past 24 hours:

- give her a bowl of water and she will drink the whole thing. When she thinks it's gone she'll put her paws in it, dumping over the remaining water.

- never underestimate how much paint a puppy can get on them while u are washing off a paint tray.

- Cali can put her front paws on the top of our kitchen counter.. At 10 weeks old.

Cali weighs 16.5lbs today :)

2 day of school

I have two adorable videos of California upload. I wish the mobile app version would upload videos! Until then here are some (blurry) pic from Calis second dog obedience class. She did wonderful and is walking on a leash, sitting, placing, going under things and through Hoops we are very proud of her! She hasn't realized she has back legs yet- once she does she'll be jumping all around :)

Great vet Appointment 5/4/13

Cali had her shots today and did awesome! She weighs 14.5 lbs. Cloee has gotten over the cone and is playing with Cali again :) here's Cali and I taking a nap this morning and Cloee and Cali eating breakfast
